Safe at Sea AB: One RescueRunner system ordered for Norwegian Fire and Rescue Services

Through our Norwegian distributor, Sortland Brann- og Redning has ordered a RescueRunner system for their operations in north western part Norway.

Sortland Brann- og Redning is located in Vestrålen just north of Lofoten. The coastal community has a lot of sea activity and the environment is characterized by many fjords, straits and harbours. Rough weather conditions is common in the area and therefore they find the RescueRunner as the ultimate SAR system as it can reach difficult and shallow waters. There are also large tidal differences in the area which make the launching procedure of other standard boats less efficient compared to the RescueRunner system that can be launched in different ways and in different locations depending on the situation.

The RescueRunner system also enable fast and efficient firefighting on islands as equipment can be brought on board the RescueRunner.

"It is fantastic news that Sortland Brannvesen chooses to order a RescueRunner system and we hope that this boat system will be a valuable tool in their operations" says Henrik Hartman, CEO of Safe at Sea AB (publ).

The boat will be delivered in Q3 2021.

Order value: approx. 345 000 SEK
