Affärsvärlden warns about the gas exploration company Igrene in a comment on Monday. Igrene has an ongoing rights issue, with the final subscription day being today, April 27. The company has found gas in three boreholes around Mora. According to researchers, the gas find consists of small pockets of methane produced by microorganisms. "According to the company, however, it is instead a boundless source of methane coming from the Earth's core, which it bases on controversial pseudoscience. We do not believe this claim for a moment and instead end up with a warning for the stock," the newspaper writes.Affärsvärlden has previously been skeptical of Igrene and issued a sell recommendation for the stock in March 2024."Since Igrene listed on Spotlight in 2014, it has raised more than SEK 100 million in new share issues. For this, the company has produced nothing tangible, other than an enormous number of new shares. The only winner in this is the people who ultimately received the money from the new share issues. Our clear advice is not to throw your money into Siljan. Stay away from Igrene," the newspaper writes.
