Nidhogg Resources, a commodities company, announces that ground-based magnetic measurements at Tuna-Hästberg in Borlänge show a clear and continuous magnetic anomaly across large parts of the area. The structure extends over more than 1,500 meters with a width varying between approximately 30 and 600 meters within the license area and coincides with historical mining areas, strengthening the picture of a continuing iron-bearing zone. Previous data from SGU indicate grades of 30 to 40 percent iron and 4 to 5 percent manganese."The results are very promising. We have identified a large and continuous magnetic structure that is stronger than at Vintjärn-Kölen and clearly coincides with historically mined areas. This gives us a solid foundation to proceed with more detailed sampling and the planning of a drilling campaign to better understand the extent and character of the mineralization," says CEO Niclas Biörnstad. The next step will be to collect and analyze samples from residual material, carry out a drilling program to confirm the ore body’s geometry, extent and grade, and complete a test mining plan. In addition, the company will continue the permitting process and consultation procedure with authorities and affected stakeholders.
