Medical technology company Redsense Medical increased revenue and returned to profit in the first quarter. Net sales increased by 34% to SEK 6.4 million (4.8). Gross margin improved to 76% (46). Operating profit was SEK 1.1 million (-3.2). Profit after tax amounted to SEK 1.1 million (-3.2) and earnings per share were SEK 0.07 (-0.19).Cash flow from operating activities amounted to SEK 2.8 million (0.8).CEO Sebastien Bollue says that sales increased to more clinics and that the company is seeing early signs of increased use of previously installed systems through higher sales of consumables.The company particularly highlights the launch of Redsense Clamp as an important step in the continued commercialization. During the quarter, the first commercial sale of the Clamp system was made to a clinic in the United Kingdom.
