Pharmaceutical company Double Bond Pharma has submitted a scientific abstract, based on final clinical data from the company's Real World Evidence study of Temodex, for review by the scientific committee of the Society for Neuro-Oncology, ahead of the annual congress in Philadelphia, USA. This is stated in a press release. The abstract presents the final results from a retrospective cohort study comprising a total of 375 patients who underwent surgical resection for malignant primary brain tumors. The study's purpose has been to evaluate the clinical effect of adding the company's local chemotherapy, Temodex, to the standardized surgical workflow.The completed analysis of the study population shows a confirmed and strengthened therapeutic benefit for the patients who received Temodex as an addition to standard treatment compared with the control group, which received standard treatment only.
