The medtech company Invent Medic reports increased net sales and an improved profit before tax in the first quarter of 2026 compared with the corresponding period the previous year. The company’s CEO Gunilla Nilsson states that March was the company’s first month with positive profit and cash flow. Net sales amounted to SEK 2.1 million (2.0), an increase of 3 percent. Profit before tax improved to SEK -0.8 million (-1.4). Earnings per share amounted to SEK -0.01 (-0.02). During the quarter, the company decided on a directed share issue of approximately SEK 2.3 million. After the end of the quarter, a rights issue of approximately SEK 4 million was also announced, with an oversubscription option of approximately SEK 1.6 million. The CEO states that the company continues to focus on existing products, selected key markets and partnerships, and that the distributor model in Sweden is to strengthen market penetration for Efemia.
