Medtech company Pexa says that a new doctoral dissertation from Lund University, based on Pexa's technology for analyzing exhaled particles from the lungs, shows that the method can provide biologically relevant information across several lung diseases, including COVID-19, lung transplantation, acute lung injury and lung cancer. The company says this in a press release.Particularly important for Pexa are the results in lung cancer. The study includes over 200 participants and indicates that breath samples can contain biomarker signals linked to non-small cell lung cancer.
