Beowulf's Finnish subsidiary Grafintec has had its land reservation in the Keltakallio industrial area in Kotka extended by one year to 30 June 2027. The extension gives the company more time to continue developing the planned graphite anode material facility, according to a press release.The company says that work will now focus on environmental permits, technical studies, pilot development, and dialogue with customers, strategic partners and financiers. Beowulf is also expecting a decision during the third quarter of 2026 on whether the project will receive status as a strategic project under the EU's Critical Raw Materials Act.
