Norwegian diagnostics company Genetic Analysis reports lower revenue and a turnaround to an operating loss in the second quarter compared with the previous year.Revenue amounted to 5.3 million Norwegian kronor, down 10.2 percent from 5.9 million a year earlier. Sales of the company's most important reagent kits did, however, increase by 4.5 percent in constant currencies.EBITDA deteriorated to -1.0 million Norwegian kronor from 0.5 million, while net profit was -2.4 million compared with -1.0 million.CEO Ronny Hermansen highlights the underlying growth in reagent kits and the progress of GA-map IBD Precision Dx. The product is undergoing validation and is planned to be launched for research use during the second half of 2026.Looking ahead, Genetic Analysis expects continued revenue growth, driven by increased use of GA-map, geographical expansion and new products.
