Logistics and transport company Movebybike reports 95,201 deliveries in August, the company’s highest monthly volume to date. This corresponds to an increase of 15.5 percent from July and 33 percent compared with August last year.The previous record of 82,397 deliveries from July was exceeded by 12,804 deliveries. Stockholm accounted for 49,934 deliveries, Malmö for 34,905 and Copenhagen for 10,362.The company states that the development coincides with the gradual launch of the expansion together with Airmee. Movebybike expects continued ramp-up in the coming months as more volumes are taken over. Organic demand is meanwhile described as remaining strong."It is very gratifying that we have once again set a new volume record. Increasing deliveries by more than 12,800 in just one month clearly shows the growth phase we are now in. We are now seeing the first effects of the expansion we previously communicated, while our existing operations continue to develop well. This gives us a very strong starting point heading into the autumn, when we expect the ramp-up to continue as the Airmee partnership reaches full scale," says Movebybike CEO Fredrik Videlycka.
