Investment company Proport Invest has agreed to acquire Growth Marketing Sweden and subsidiary Nordic AI Growth for SEK 25 million following a letter of intent in July. Of the purchase price, SEK 10 million will be paid in cash and up to SEK 15 million in Proport shares, conditional on the target companies’ EBITDA over three years.Closing is to take place no later than October 20. Proport states that the acquisition is expected to more than double the group’s annualized revenue. Final financing has not yet been determined.The purpose of the transaction is described as building a larger business within AI and digital marketing."The acquisition is a transformative step in Proport’s development and strengthens our focus on AI as a central growth area. We are bringing in a profitable business within next-generation SEO and digital marketing and a scalable AI and SaaS platform. This gives us a strong foundation for further developing our investment in AI and automation as we acquire more companies," says Marko Rado, CEO of Proport Invest.For the financial year ended June 30, 2025, Growth Marketing reported revenue of SEK 12 million, EBITDA of SEK 1.6 million and profit after net financial items of SEK 1.6 million. At the end of the financial year, the company had four employees. At the time of the previously announced letter of intent, Nordic AI’s recurring annual revenue (ARR) amounted to approximately SEK 2.1 million.
