Safe at Sea AB: The Fire Department in Châteauroux orders a RescueRunner through Fire Technologies

Safe at Sea’s distributor in France, Fire Technologies, has received an order for one RescueRunner from the fire and rescue service in Châteauroux (SDIS 36).

The fire and rescue service in Châteauroux (SDIS 36) has placed an order for a RescueRunner via Fire Technologies, intended for use in the shallow and demanding conditions of the Indre River, which flows through the city.

The RescueRunner was originally developed by the Swedish Sea Rescue Society (SSRS) to enable effective rescue operations in shallow and inaccessible areas where traditional boats cannot operate.

“After an extended period of high activity and many demonstrations in France, it’s encouraging to now see this translate into a growing number of incoming orders. We hope this system will become a valuable asset in their challenging operational environments,” says Lukas Brehm, Vice President and Head of Sales at Safe at Sea AB.

Delivery is scheduled for Q2 2026.

The order value is approximately SEK 500,000.
