The med-tech company PolarCool AB (publ.) is strengthening its presence in European ice hockey by signing its first agreement within French ice hockey. Rouen Hockey Elite 76 becomes the first French ice hockey club to integrate PolarCap® into its concussion management routines.
Entry into France’s top division, Ligue Magnus, marks PolarCool’s expansion into another European market. The company has already established a strong presence in several leading ice hockey leagues, including those in Sweden, Finland, Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
PolarCool’s CEO, Erik Andersson, comments:

Rouen Hockey Elite 76 is a well-established club and will serve as an important reference for PolarCap® in French ice hockey. The agreement with Rouen Hockey Elite 76 represents a strategic value for PolarCool and marks a breakthrough in the French ice hockey market. The club will use PolarCap® for the remainder of the season during an initial evaluation period, with the possibility of continuing into a two-year commercial agreement following the evaluation.
