Solar energy company Absolicon has been selected as the winning bidder in a procurement for a solar thermal plant for one of the world's largest brewing groups. The award is non-binding and precedes negotiations and the signing of a final agreement, according to a press release. The plant comprises a solar collector field of 528 square meters, corresponding to 370 kW, and includes delivery of solar collectors as well as a simpler integration with the existing process. The indicative order value amounts to SEK 3.7 million excluding transport costs.The award is conditional on the parties entering into a final agreement, and there is no guarantee that the project will be realized. The final agreement is expected to be signed in the second quarter of 2026 and delivery to be completed in autumn 2026.Additional information will be provided if and when a final agreement has been entered into.
