Xoma, which develops technology for algae cultivation, has transferred its CLAS technology to the wholly owned Algonova Bio, registered on May 4, to create a pure-play structure for development and commercialization.The measure follows a board decision in December 2025 to move the operations to a separate company during the first quarter of 2026, with the ambition of carrying out a separate listing within 24 months. The decision is being made after increased external interest and continued analysis.
