(adds more information from the company)The medical technology company Sensodetect is ending an international collaboration by mutual agreement as part of the company’s strategy to focus on broader commercial opportunities and long-term scalable partnerships. In a follow-up press release, the company states that this refers to Arabian Trade House (ATH) in Saudi Arabia."The previous cooperation structure included exclusivity for ATH in parts of the Middle East. With the collaboration now ended, Sensodetect is free to further develop and establish new international collaborations and partnerships in the region and other priority markets," it says.The company says the change is not expected to have any material impact on operations or the financial position. Work in the United Arab Emirates and regulatory activities in Saudi Arabia continue according to plan.Sensodetect also states that the company continues to evaluate international opportunities within decision-support and screening solutions for neuroscience and mental health.
