The washing systems company Aerowash is establishing a new subsidiary focused on environmentally friendly washing of trains, buses and other heavy vehicles. The initiative builds on the company’s ongoing development collaboration with the French railway operator SNCF.According to the company, tests of the first prototype phase with SNCF are expected to be completed during the summer, and the project is assessed to have strong potential for commercial implementation. The new subsidiary is to gather operations outside the aviation industry and create better opportunities for external financing and partnerships. "We see exciting markets that are geographically closer and with far more potential customers than within aviation," says Niklas Adler, CEO of Aerowash."With this subsidiary, we are taking the experience from aviation into new markets with at least as much potential. We have the SNCF collaboration as a springboard and now we are building the structure to be able to grow properly," Adler continues.
