Suntrade announces that batteries and grid substations are in place at two of the company's Swedish energy storage projects.These deployments have been made at Söderhamn and Marmaverken. The former project is reported to be in the final phase and is progressing in line with the previously communicated timeline to be completed in December. Söderhamn is therefore expected to be the first of the company's larger BESS units to be commissioned.At the Tanumshede project, the substation is reported to be connected, while the batteries are ready for installation."Despite any potential weather challenges, the contractor is working to keep the previously announced schedule, with completion in December 2025," the company writes in an update on the project status.As for Sigtuna, the design work is reported to be complete, and they are awaiting the start of construction of the substation. At the Hulån project, the earthworks are complete, and the company is awaiting the substation there.
