The medical technology company Pexa has been granted a patent in the United States for the technology the company has developed to increase the concentration of biological material that can be analyzed using the company's research instruments. This is stated in a press release. Pexa has previously been granted a patent for the Spot technology in Sweden, and applications have been filed in additional markets. Using the Spot technology, the amount of biological material in exhaled breath samples can be concentrated, which improves the conditions for subsequent analysis.
